Very, very late (I'm not even in this class anymore!), but here it is! Considering my piece was fairly rushed (since I didn't realize we had one last project), I think it turned out nicely. The piece depicts the abandoned body of a sexual assault victim in the darkness (either of night or a dark room; both fit the content). The piece is meant to point out the almost casual rapes that seem to happen a lot in college (or at least that is what my college books make it out to be) - girl walks alone at night/drinks something sketchy/does something else that should be innocent, girl is assaulted, girl is abandoned as if she has served her purpose and is no longer needed to satisfy anyone.
While my summer project (post coming soon) fits my content, I am beginning to feel stifled by my content. I am definitely still passionate about this issue, but I may move on to a new content under the massive umbrella of feminist issues. A new project is due in a month or so, and I will have to see what happens there.
