Progress on my sculpture has moved faster than I expected - each hand took me one studio day to finish, whereas I had expected each hand to take up at least 2 studio days. I have also edited the fingers to make them look more complete and covered up any hole I found, though I do not have pictures of that step because the hands look the same in photos before and after the edits.
My next step will be to mount the hands on a base - I found a suitable plank for that and will make it look nice before mounting - and hopefully I can get that done on Friday. After mounting, I will need to find some string (yarn, twine, or something else not too thin to be seen), spray-paint it gold, and string it around the fingers. I will need to complete those last few steps soon, however, as the project is due in a few short weeks.
